Hermit Queers Zine + Sticker
Hermit queer (noun): a queer person living in solitude of some form (geographical, psychological, creative etc.).
This is a zine made by, and for, hermit queers in the variety of niches in which they can be found all over the world. Note that I use ‘queer’ as an inclusive term for all LGBTQIA+ identities, and also because it’s a lot easier and catchier to say than ‘hermit LGBTQIA+ humans’.
There are a lot of ways to be a hermit queer in modern society. When you don’t feel like you fit traditional stereotypes, or find it difficult to keep a toe in the wider queer pool, sometimes it can be hard to identify as part of a wider queer community. That’s where this zine comes in, an attempt to catalogue the habits and proclivities of hermit queers around the world: their motivations, goals, wishes, and dreams. It also explores housing options, types of hermit queers, and tried and tested wooing styles.
